- Department of Transport statistics show that road accident incidents fell last year by around 4%, but that the figures still do not compare favorably to other European countries. The primary contributing factors to road accidents are said to be failing to look properly whilst driving, exceeding the speed limit, driving too fast for the conditions and drink driving. It was noted that not all road accidents get reported and that even those involved who do report an accident often fail to claim for compensation when they may be due it because of the negligence of the other party. - The number of accident claims resulting from car accidents involving young drivers is increasing. It is thought that as many as 20% of young drivers have been involved in an accident, and that of all deaths among young adults that over half are on the roads. A typical car accident claim size for a male under the age of 20 is around £4,500, which compares to £1,500 for males aged between 30-50. This issue is clearly a big problem. Young people driving carelessly not only endanger themselves and others, they are also causing premiums to rise for all drivers. Further reading - Car Accident Claims
- No win no fee claims have become more common these days because legal aid is no longer available for personal injury claims. Whilst the no win no fee approach is not the right solution for everyone, it is often the best course of action. Not all of these agreements are the same though, so it is important to discuss exactly who will be liable for what costs and under what circumstances. Further reading - No Win No Fee

The business owners spoken to said that although they recognized the importance of SEO, they had little or no idea of how to optimise and promote their website themselves. Some said that they have already enlisted the help of a professional SEO company to do the work for them, whilst others said that it is something that they will do this year. - Milan fashion week has ended and designers have set the standard for what we will be wearing in the coming months. Overcoat styles ranged from winter-ready trench coats to business-like double-breasted. Materials were readily mixed, combining leather, tweed, wool, fur and fabric. The more casual look was catered for with pea jackets and hooded duffle coats. The overall message was one of conservatism. Layering was popular, and knitwear was geometric. Black was the season's favorite color, but patterns graced many garments too. The general consensus was that the week was a success and that the designer clothing hitting the shelves soon will be eye catching. Further reading - Designer Clothing
